Cambio Dermatology is staffed by exceptionally caring and capable Board Certified Physicians and Physician Assistants. Our team includes Board Certified Medical Dermatologists and Dermatologic Surgeons, and a Board Certified and ACGME Fellowship Trained Mohs Micrographic Surgeon. And while dermatology is our specialty our Physicians and Physician Assistants have a wide range of experience and training in other fields of medicine such as Family Practice, General Medicine, Internal Medicine, Orthopedics and even Emergency Medicine. This experience helps us to better see the whole picture when it comes to our patient’s needs.
Andrea Cambio MD, FAAD
Dr. Cambio has extensive training and experience in all aspects of adult and pediatric dermatology, skin cancer, laser, dermatologic surgery and cosmetic dermatology and is board certified in Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery. She attended New York University and graduated as a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Psychology. She received her Doctor of Medicine Degree with a distinction in melanoma research from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Cambio completed a Pediatric Internship at New York University Medical Center and a Dermatology Residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine where she was the Chief Resident in her third year.
Dr. Cambio is an American Academy of Dermatology Fellow and a served as a member of their Young Physicians Committee, Public Awareness Committee and the Eczema.Net Workgroup. Her career has spanned clinical work, research, product development, teaching, supervision of physicians in training, volunteering, and health care management. Her work has been published in the dermatological literature and she frequently presents at academic conferences. Because of her special interest in educating the public about dermatology, she frequently volunteers to visit schools to teach children about the field. She is a participant in The American Academy of Dermatology’s SKIN- Skin Knowledge and Information Network whose initiative is public education. Because of her extensive experience and knowledge, she has been featured in print and TV, including appearances on 20/20, and interviews in The Wall Street Journal, Newsweek, Fortune, Elle, Glamour, and Parents and Child magazine. For her outstanding volunteer efforts in the field of dermatology she has been granted membership in the American Academy of Dermatology’s Leadership Circle for Volunteerism and has received The President’s Volunteer Service Award.
When not practicing Dermatology, Dr. Cambio enjoys boating, painting and writing. Her art has been exhibited in New York City and Florida. She also treasures spending time with her husband and two daughters.
Jane Phillips PA-C
Jane Phillips is a board certified Physician Assistant who has been in practice since 1997. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from Arizona State University. After graduation, she worked as a Medical Technologist in Microbiology and Virology at Sonora/Quest Laboratories. She received her Masters of Science Degree in Physician Assistant Studies at A.T. Still University in 1997. She is currently a member of the Florida Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, Florida Academy of Physician Assistants, and American Academy of Physician Assistants and is board certified through the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants.
Jane’s extensive experience in family medicine in addition to dermatology enable her to view the patient as a whole when diagnosing and formulating treatment plans. Jane is skilled in both adult and pediatric general dermatology, diagnosis and treatment of skin cancers, botox/fillers, chemical peels, photodymanic therapy and anti-aging regimes, including total skin care. Janes skills are greatly respected by her physician colleagues and she has developed a loyal following from her patients.
Stephanie Boyer PA-C
Stephanie Boyer is a nationally certified physician assistant, who has been practicing in Southwest Florida since 2008. Stephanie earned her undergraduate degree from The University of Central Florida’s College of Health Sciences. She received her Master of Medical Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Nova Southeastern University, where she graduated with high honors. Stephanie is an active member of the American Association of Physician Assistants, the Florida Association of Physician Assistants, and the Florida Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
Stephanie’s background in dermatology and internal medicine provide her with a keen insight to diagnose and treat a wide array of dermatological conditions. Stephanie maintains a close rapport with her patients by educating them about their condition, discussing the risks associated with overexposure to the sun and the importance of sun protection, and by always keeping them fully informed while under her care.
When not practicing medicine, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her husband, young son, and dog. She enjoys football and is a Florida Gators and Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan.
Thomas J. Singer DO, FASMS
Dr. Thomas J. Singer is a board certified dermatologist who has been treating patients in Fort Myers for the last 5 years. His practice of dermatology focuses on cutaneous surgery/ oncology including Mohs micrographic surgery and superficial radiation therapy. He is a fellow of the American Society for Mohs Surgery and a fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Singer has performed thousands of Mohs cases for multiple offices along the west coast of Florida. However, due to birth of his beautiful daughter, has decided to practice solely in Lee County.
Dr. Singer trained extensively in Mohs micrographic surgery, advanced medical dermatology, dermatopathology, cosmetic dermatology, and dermoscopy during his dermatology residency. Dr. Singer was fortunate to train with some of the most prominent dermatologists in the field. He utilizes the most up to date techniques and brings a well rounded approach to dermatologic care.
Kim Cole PA-C
Kim Cole is a Captain in the United States Air Force (Ret.). He graduated from the University of Oklahoma’s USAF Physician Assistant Program in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science degree. While stationed at Homestead Air Force Base he worked in Family Practice for eight years evaluating and managing patients of all ages. After transfer to MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Kim worked for five years in Emergency Medicine. He retired from the Air Force in 1996 and continued practicing family medicine until 1998 when he began specializing in dermatology.
Kim is a member of the Florida Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, National Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, Florida Academy of Physician Assistants, American Academy of Physician Assistants and has been certified since 1985 in the National Academy of Physician Assistants.
His hobbies include auto racing, fishing, boating, sailing, biking, woodworking and traveling.
Thomas Pino, PA-C
Thomas Pino was born in Rutherford, New Jersey and moved to Cape Coral, Florida in 1989. He subsequently graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Biology. Thomas then embarked upon a career in aviation, first as a commercial pilot, then as a FAA certified flight instructor. He continued his flight instruction duties along with teaching science at his Alma Mater, Bishop Verot Catholic High School.
After several years of teaching, Thomas returned to school to pursue a career in medicine. He then went on to graduate with highest honors from Nova Southeastern University with a Masters in Medical Science. During his rotations, he encountered a variety of medical specialties. He has chosen to specialize in Dermatology because he enjoys the visual aspect of diagnosis and management of skin disorders. His expert hand/eye coordination skills developed as a pilot enables him to master the surgical aspects of dermatology.
When not practicing as a Physician Assistant, Thomas is very active in volunteering his time with the Boy Scouts of America. He enjoys camping, fishing and hiking with his wife and two boys.
Delicia Garner, PA-C
Delicia Garner is a nationally certified Physician Assistant who moved to Florida in early 2017 from her home state of Kentucky. She majored in Psychology at Eastern Kentucky University and graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2005. She went on to earn her Master of Science degree from the University of Kentucky in 2008, during which she completed a specialized clinical rotation in dermatology. Delicia’s clinical background includes internships in geriatric, pediatric, family, emergency, and internal medicine, as well as seven years as a pharmacy technician and as a Physician Assistant in the mental health field. She practiced dermatology for seven years while in Kentucky.
Delicia has taught English, authored several papers in pathophysiology and has extensive experience treating and counseling patients with mental illnesses. In her spare time, she enjoys paddle boarding, hiking, reading (particularly science fiction), Marvel Comics movies and spending time with her daughter, Ally. Delicia remains a life-long University of Kentucky basketball fan.
Kristin Schmidt, MMS, PA-C
Kristin Schmidt is a board certified Physician Assistant. She is a native of St. Louis, Missouri. Kristin completed her undergraduate degree at Truman State University and her Masters in Medical Science at Saint Louis University. With nearly 10 years as a practicing Dermatology PA, Kristin is experienced in providing comprehensive dermatologic care to her patients, including the prevention, detection and treatment of skin cancer. Her special interests include acne and cosmetic dermatology. She is an experienced injector and enjoys helping her patients feel and look their best with the use of proper skin care, Botox and dermal fillers for the face. When not practicing Dermatology, Kristin enjoys cooking, boating and spending time with her husband and three children. Kristin is certified through the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants. She belongs to the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and the Florida Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
Henry Sotomayor PA-C
Henry Sotomayor attended medical school at Carlos J. Finlay University of Medical Sciences in Camaguey, Cuba. He completed his undergraduate Bachelor of Health Science degree with a minor in Psychology at Hodges University in Fort Myers, Florida.
He then went on to earn his Masters degree in Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Myers, Florida. Henry is experienced in all aspects of dermatology, including a variety of surgical procedures. He manages a diverse range of skin, hair, and nail diseases in patients of all ages with a clinical focus on acne, eczema, psoriasis, as well as the prevention, detection, and treatment of skin cancer.
Henry is certified through the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants. He belongs to the American Academy of Physician Assistants, as well as the Florida Association of Physician Assistants.
Amy Wlosinski completed the Advanced Paramedical Aesthetic Program at the top of her class from Florida College of Natural Health in Miami, Florida. This rigorous program allowed her to meet the highest competency standards in skin care credentials available in the United States. Upon completion of her training, she went on to work in a five-star spa located in the city of Miami. Embracing her passion for medical skin care, she became the Lead Aesthetician and later, Supervisor of a Medical Spa.
Amy specializes in result-driven treatments and has been recognized in Allure magazine as one of Miami’s top Facialists. She specializes in treatments such as microneedling, advanced chemical peels, medical-grade facials, and microdermabrasion. She is also certified in Oncology Facials, Lymphatic drainage, and anti-aging facial muscle massage.
Amy believes that understanding the physiology of the skin combined with an extensive knowledge of product ingredients, and their formulation is the perfect synergy to customize a treatment plan based upon a complimentary skin analysis. She strives to inform as well as treat her patients, allowing them to see continuous results at home. Amy regularly researches innovative advancements in medical skin care and works closely with the office providers to offer appropriate treatments, giving you the confidence to reveal healthy, beautiful skin.
